Every square is $1. Paint your block any colors you like, add a link if you want, and it stays exactly as you left it. No expiry, no renewal fees.
Half of everything raised here goes to the World Food Programme's Sudan response once the goal is reached.
Sudan is currently facing one of the largest humanitarian crises in the world. Famine has been confirmed in parts of Darfur and Kordofan, and tens of millions of people need urgent help. The World Food Programme is one of the organizations leading the food response on the ground there.
Every payment made on this site goes through Stripe. Once the 15,000 square goal is reached, half of everything raised will be donated directly through the World Food Programme’s official donation page. Then I’ll post the donation confirmation down below.
Want to donate to WFP directly yourself, outside of this project? Donate here.
This is not an official partnership or endorsement by the World Food Programme. It’s a personal pledge to direct half of what’s earned here towards the official site myself once the goal is reached.
Donation proof
Not yet reached. Proof of the actual transfer will be posted here once the 15,000-square goal is hit.
A note from the creator who made this
This project was heavily inspired by The Million Dollar Homepage, a site created back in August 2005. It started off as a hobby, then turned into something more valuable, with the goal of benefiting people in need in Sudan, while also giving people value by letting them promote their businesses or aspirations through this site.
Your painted designs would appear on the grid for everyone to see, for as long as this site is running. If you added a link, clicking your square takes visitors straight to it.
Yes, Once you reserved and bought your square, it’s yours, with no expiry and renewal fees. It is intended by me to keep this site running indefinitely, but it isn’t a guarantee outside of my control if such events do occur that cause the site shutdown. That risk is accepted as part of buying a square here.
No. Once bought, No one else can claim your square or bid for it.
Not currently. What is painted before the purchase would stay as it is after purchase.
You’ll be taken through Stripe’s checkout just like any other checkout done online. Once payment is confirmed, your square appears on the grid, which is your confirmation.
Once the 15,000 square goal is reached, I’ll personally donate half of everything raised to the World Food Programme through their official site, and post proof of the donation above.
One square is enough to be on the grid. There’s no minimum block size.

What this site stores. When you claim a square, the site stores the position and size of your block, the colors you painted, the optional name and link you enter, and a record of the payment (the amount and a Stripe transaction reference). Everything except the payment record is displayed publicly on the grid. This site does not store your email address, billing details, or card details.
Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card and billing details are entered on Stripe's checkout page and handled by Stripe under its own privacy policy. They never pass through or are stored on this site.
Abuse prevention. When you start a checkout, your IP address is stored temporarily to limit repeated attempts. It is deleted automatically within 24 hours.
Service providers. This site runs on Supabase (database) and Vercel (hosting). As with any web host, these providers process technical data such as IP addresses and request logs in order to deliver the site. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and a code library from jsDelivr, so those providers also receive your IP address when a page loads. This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or advertising tools, and it does not sell or share personal data for marketing. Stripe's checkout page may set its own cookies.
Your content and permanence. Anything you paint, name, or link is public. Once a payment is confirmed, your square is final and is not removed or edited at your request. The only exceptions are a square that breaks the content rules, a payment that is reversed through a refund or card dispute, and the case where two people pay for overlapping squares at the same moment, where the second payment is refunded in full. For questions about your data, email .. Nothing here limits any rights you have under applicable law.
Squares may not be used for illegal content, hate speech, harassment, adult content, malware or phishing links, or someone else's copyrighted work, trademark, name, or likeness used without their permission. I reserve the right to remove any square that breaks these rules, without a refund.
Purchases made with the goal of fragmenting the grid or blocking others from claiming a larger area, whether that's scattered single squares or any other pattern with the same intent, aren't a permitted use of this site. More broadly, anything that appears intended to disrupt the grid or other users isn't either. I reserve the right to remove squares used this way, without a refund, to keep the grid fair and usable for everyone.
All sales are final once your square is confirmed on the grid. Because your square would appear on the grid immediately, you agree that any statutory withdrawal period for online purchases is waived at purchase. If two people pay for overlapping squares at the same moment, the second payment is refunded automatically in full. If something else went wrong with your payment, please contact me.
